About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a dependable and experienced Dining Hall Cook (Full Line Cook) to join the kitchen team at a local residential treatment facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and wants to make a positive impact on others. You'll be preparing and serving nutritious meals in a supportive, recovery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve daily meals following set menus and dietary guidelines
• Cook large quantities of food efficiently and safely (experience similar to Denny's or other high-volume kitchens is ideal)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining space
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with food inventory, prep, and restocking
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and facility team
• Serve meals with a respectful and professional demeanor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook in a high-volume setting required
• Solid understanding of food safety and handling practices
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Valid Food Handler's card (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass background check and drug screen
